Handkerchiefs are one of my favorite things to grab at any second-hand source.

Purl Soho shows you some great ways to use handkerchiefs. Plus, she has totally inspired me to BEG my boyfriend to wear floral pocket squares 24/7.

I am working on an adorable handkerchief-inpired project right now, so it only felt appropriate to share this post with all my thrift mistresses out there.

Totes lovin’ this article by all women stalk (not sure what that means). I have to give a shout out cause it totally zeros in on all my FAV thrift store finds.

My boyfriend surprised me today with a nature excursion on my day off. I’m a work-o-holic, so my days OFF have to count – BIG!

We went to a secret quarry south of Atlanta. All it cost for a gorgeous day in nature: a little gas money and some dollars for beers.

We went with a few friends and we were the ONLY people there. Pure Paradise!

Don’t ask me where it is… I’ll tell you lies! xo

Melanie from YouAreMyFave.com is basically the reason I started my blog. I’m completely obsessed with everything she posts. So it would make complete sense that while she is on maternity leave.. she finds a guest blogger named Mallory (same name as me, different spelling) that posts about some of my favorite things.

Not only do we have similar taste, but we share the same philosophy. It almost felt like I wrote the post myself.

I totes support feeling lucky for what you have.. So, having a disposable income isn’t a necessity for me.

But, if I had one.. You better believe I would buy this camera strap for my Canon and wear it proudly.

If you follow my blog on the REG you probably know I have a pretty strong affinity for the city I currently live in. You know, The Hollywood of the South, Hotlanta: Atlanta. It’s a pretty amazing place && the culture is overwhelming.

So overwhelming, that I have decided to expand my blog to have an expansive thrifty events section. These events will be privy to people who follow my blog and enjoy the things I post about. Such as: auctions, antique market events, craft shows, etc. But, the BEST part will be covering events that are NOT hard on the wallet and most likely serve wine or mimosas.. Cause, hunny this Thrifty lady is a SUCKA for a cocktail && I fully support getting your booze on in creative, but of course, responsible ways.

 That’s not it! I will also be covering all topics “event-friendly”. Like decorations, event planning suggestions and ideas and everything else that makes an event THRIFTY.
