Color Schemes Are Thrifty

I am currently in the process of getting my thrifty site updated. Today I was asked to pick out a color scheme I wanted to go with. I had so much FUN picking out the colors I have decided to wake up each day and PICK a color scheme for everything I do.

Because a picture’s worth a 1000 words, I am sharing all the images I found  via the web that inspired my new site’s colors: Pink, Gray, & Yellow!

All these images are via Pinterest when searching: Pink, Yellow, Gray.

Thrifty Studs, Thrifty Shorts!

I can’t wait til I get my studs I bought wholesale in the mail.. So I can make thrifty shorts like these from the Free People Blog.

Google Images Is Thrifty

I’m sittin’ here watchin’ Tosh and taking care of my unfortunately sick BF. I had this idea pop up in my head to Google Images   thrift stores. I was quite pleasantly surprised when I found some very clutch images.

Images that I am, of course, gonna share with my thrifty followers.

Starting today, I am going to do a weekly feature posting my favorite things. These are the things that I am ultra-obsessed with.. so much.. I wish I could use them as ingredients, add sugar, stir ‘em up, bake ‘em up and eat ‘em all weekend.

Get your “DUH-Face” ready.. Cause the first thing is:

Katniss is so badass, don’t deny it!

&&

Lana Del Rey’s song, “Off To The Races,” because after I hear that song I feel fabulous && I want to drink a Mint Julep.

The Thrifty Mistress Goes Back to Her Thrifty Roots!

I’m going back to my thrifty roots, peeps. Back in highschool I joined the thrifty movement when I realized how fabulous vintage & second-hand apparel was. Then one day I had an epiphany in an Urban Outifitters when I noticed , “All this s…h*t is just more expensive garments I’ve seen at all my FAV local thrifts!” So, expect to see a lot more cute second-hand outfits going up on my blog, cause UO has nothin’ on my thrifty-eye! Besides summer gained so much more potential when I found this 1980′s inspired crop-top!
What do you thrift-seekers think? Should TTM be more about thrifty houseware, thrifty apparel or BOTH?
Let me know, I might be having an identity crisis!
